I work primarily with children (ages 3+), youth, and their families. A strong focus of mine is working with trauma, abuse, issues with belonging, abandonment, divorce and separation, addiction, eating disorders, impacts of cultural genocide/colonization, anxiety, gender transitioning, and depression. I currently run a group for transyouth and children, and a parent support group. I understand that reaching out is never easy. I aim to provide a safe and trusting space.
I have been providing services for private and public schools, rehabilitation centres, behavioural consulting firms, Indigenous Bands, hospitals, and non-profit agencies since 2008. I am am a Child Specialist and Divorce Coach in Collaborative Divorce.
I work from a client centred approach that invites clients into sandplay, play therapy, reworking their story from a Narrative perspective, and focusing on realistic solutions found in a Solution Focused Brief Therapy model. I am an approved First Nations Health Provider, and ICBC Mental Health Clinician.
